Zika Cases In Virginia Increase To 26

As of Thursday, June 16, 2016, VDH has reported 26 cases of Zika virus disease in Virginia residents to the CDC (3 in Northwest Region, 15 in Northern Region, 1 in Eastern Region, 5 in Central Region and 2 in Southwest Region). CDC has issued a travel alert (Level 2-Practice Enhanced Precautions) for people traveling to regions and certain countries where Zika virus transmission is ongoing.
