Zika Cases In Virginia Increase To 38

As of noon *Wednesday, July 13, 2016, VDH has reported 38 cases of Zika virus disease in Virginia residents to the CDC ( 4 in Northwest Region, 22 in Northern Region, 1 in Eastern Region, 7 in Central Region and 4 in Southwest Region). CDC has issued a travel alert (Level 2-Practice Enhanced Precautions) for people traveling to regions and certain countries where Zika virus transmission is ongoing.
