The Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality has risen to 27 cases diagnosed in Spain of the Zika virus , all imported, including two pregnant women, who are under medical supervision are.

Nine cases are diagnosed in Catalonia, including two pregnant women; six in Madrid; five Castilla y León; two Aragon; two Asturias; and one in Andalusia, as in Murcia and Navarre.

This was confirmed by the Ministry on its website, once the cases have been confirmed at the National Center of Microbiology Institute of Health Carlos III.

 

All of them have been infected after visiting affected countries .

Health recalled that before the epidemic zika in several countries of the continent American, the Ministry, in collaboration with the Carlos III Health Institute and the autonomous communities, has established a surveillance of imported cases of illness from this virus.
