Two more cases of Zika virus in Washington.

That brings the total eight in the state.

Marla Evans of SeaTac tested positive.

She visited Haiti with her 17-year-old daughter Olivia, who also caught Zika.

“My hands would swell up, I couldn’t close them all the way. My ankles hurt, it hurt to walk.”

The other case is a woman in her 30s who traveled to Honduras.

The cases do not pose a risk to the public and the mosquitoes that transmit Zika aren’t found in the Pacific Northwest.
