Virginia Zika Cases Increase To 60

As of Thursday, August 11, 2016, VDH has reported 60 cases of Zika virus disease in Virginia residents to the CDC ( 7 in Northwest Region, 29 in Northern Region, 5 in Eastern Region, 11 in Central Region and 8 in Southwest Region). CDC has issued a travel alert (Level 2-Practice Enhanced Precautions) for people traveling to regions and certain countries where Zika virus transmission is ongoing.
