Countries Banning Poultry From Dubois County Indiana

The detection of H7N8 in a turkey farm in Dubois County, Indiana has led to series of country bans.

Poultry originating from Dubois County, Indiana that were slaughtered on or after January 15, 2016 is ineligible.  Poultry products that are heat-treated according to the table below are exempt from this restriction.*

The EU member countries are Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Ireland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Romania, Slovak Republic, and Slovenia.

Finland and Sweden have additional requirements. See Section XIV for more information. 

Poultry meat and poultry meat products from Dubois County, Indiana are not eligible for export to or transit via the European Union.*
