niman Posted November 4, 2016 Report Share Posted November 4, 2016 As of Thursday, November 3, 2016*, VDH has reported 91 cases of Zika virus disease in Virginia residents to the CDC ( 15 in Central Region, 10 in Eastern Region, 12 in Northwest Region, 45 in Northern Region and 9 in Southwest Region). All Virginia cases are associated with travel to a Zika-affected area. CDC has issued a travel alert (Level 2-Practice Enhanced Precautions) for people traveling to regions and certain countries where Zika virus transmission is ongoing. *After the November 3, 2016 weekly update, this information will be updated monthly (by the 7th of each month).
