Bird flu: the H5N5 outbreak in the province of Gorizia

On December 28, 2016 was confirmed by the National Reference Center for influenza avian Institute Zooprofilattico delle Venezie, positive for influenza virus type A highly pathogenic (HPAI) subtype H5N5 , in organs from a wild bird found dead in the province of Gorizia.
