Leipzig -  The Corona variant Omikron has now also arrived in Saxony!

This was explained on Monday evening by Dr. Regine Krause-Döring, head of the Leipzig health department, at an online meeting with Saxony's Prime Minister Michael Kretschmer (46, CDU).

"I have just received the confirmation for an omicron detection in the mutation analysis for a 39-year-old patient," said Krause-Döring.
