niman Posted March 28, 2022 Report Posted March 28, 2022 On January 9, 2022 the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) confirmed the detection of highly pathogenic avian influenza, subtype H5N1, (non-avian detection) at another farm on the Avalon Peninsula, located in the part of the island of Newfoundland of the province of Newfoundland and Labrador.
