niman Posted April 18, 2022 Report Posted April 18, 2022 (edited) 3 H5N1 Great Horned Owl Suffolk New York 4/12/22 An adult great horned owl and two owlets found dead in Peconic earlier this month have tested positive for highly pathogenic avian influenza, New York State Department of Environmental Conservation officials have confirmed.
