H5N1 HPAI Poultry Farm Whitemouth01 Manitoba

The CFIA has detected the presence of highly pathogenic avian influenza (AI) in the following locations in Manitoba:

• April 23, 2022 – Rural Municipality of Whitemouth (poultry flock)

The infected premises has been placed under quarantine. CFIA has begun an investigation and will be establishing movement control measures on other farms within that area.
