  It is reported that the confirmed patient was a 34-year-old male and a company employee in Wuhan. After arriving in Chengdu from Wuhan, he went to a hospital in Chengdu on January 11 due to fever, and the hospital was admitted for isolation. After preliminary detection by the Sichuan Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the virus was positive for the new coronavirus. The virus nucleic acid test of China CDC was reported according to the prescribed procedures, and the test result was positive.

  On January 21, the diagnostic expert group of the Leading Group for Epidemic Prevention and Control of the National Health and Health Commission evaluated and confirmed that the case was a confirmed case of pneumonia due to a new coronavirus infection. At present, patients are treated in isolation at designated hospitals, and their condition is stable.
