On January 22, a fever patient in Wuzhou was tested positive for the new coronavirus by the Wuzhou, Autonomous Region Disease Control Center. Patient Li, male, 46 years old, a citizen of Wuzhou, had fever symptoms on January 20, had contact with people from Wuhan before the onset of the disease, and was transferred to the designated hospital of Wuzhou for treatment on the 21st. At present, 20 people in close contact are undergoing medical observation. in.

On January 22, a new suspected case of pneumonia caused by a new coronavirus was added in Guangxi. The patient was a resident of Liuzhou City and lived in Wuhan City. He arrived in Liuzhou from January 20th and developed fever symptoms on January 21st. He was admitted to a designated hospital in Liuzhou City and was in stable condition. The laboratory test results of patients are being reviewed in accordance with regulations. Once the diagnosis is confirmed, they will be announced to the public in time.

In summary, as of 18:00 on January 22, 2 cases of pneumonia diagnosed with new-type coronavirus infection have been reported in our district, of which: 1 in Beihai City and 1 in Wuzhou City; 1 new suspected case in Liuzhou City. All cases had a history of Wuhan work, residence or close contact with Wuhan cases. At present, three patients are diagnosed and treated in designated medical institutions with stable condition. Medical observation was performed on all 63 close contacts, and no symptoms such as fever were found.
