The affected farm is a commercial layer farm, where a mortality rate of 28% was detected. Intervention zones have been defined in the outbreak zone (1 km) and in the zone around the outbreak (3 and 5 km), along with sampling of all farms and implementation of containment measures. Passive surveillance has been strengthened to detect new outbreaks. The affected farm corresponds to a commercial layer farm, where intervention zones have been defined in the focal area (1 km) and perifocal area (3 and 5 km), accompanied by sampling of all farms and application of containment measures. Passive surveillance has been strengthened to detect new outbreaks. The affected farm had an epidemiological relationship with other sheds located 280 meters away in a straight line, these being part of the primary outbreak. Surveillance has been intensified in the focal, perifocal and surveillance zones with constant monitoring; control measures are being maintained in the intervention zones.
