Senasica reported that, up to now in Mexico, the AH5N1 influenza has affected a total of 3,933,499 birds, most of them laying eggs, which means 0.19 percent of the national inventory in 17 commercial poultry production units of eight entities of the country: six in Jalisco, which are owned by the same owner, six in Yucatán, four in Sonora and one in Nuevo León.
