A pelican that was walking disoriented on the road near the beach located in the Lluta River wetland (Natural Park). Nasal and cloacal swab samples were taken as part of the official surveillance actions. In the same area, two more specimens of the same species were detected, with nervous clinical signs, and samples were taken from the birds, which tested positive for highly pathogenic avian influenza.
