This is the 9th confirmed case in the northern province alone. The woman is a neighbor of one of the eight workers of Japanese-invested Nihon Plast Company Limited sent to train for two months in China’s Wuhan City, Hubei Province, the epicenter of the epidemic. This 23-year-old infected worker had also infected three of her family members: her mother, sister and cousin. Upon returning to Vietnam last month, six of the workers have been confirmed to be infected with the nCoV. The 55-year-old woman went to the worker's house on January 28 for about one hour for Lunar New Year (Tet) celebration. She exhibited symptoms like fever, headache and runny nose on February 2.
