3 persons test positive after trip to Hawaii (USA) - Could have been infected after trip

woman in her 60s living in the city tested positive for a new coronavirus infection. A wife of a 60s male who was confirmed infected on the 14th, accompanied by a man when he was transported by emergency on the 13th, and suffered from low-grade fever and headaches the same night.

The couple traveled to Hawaii, USA on January 28, and returned home on February 7. Both couples are Japanese and have not traveled to China for two weeks before the onset.

Notes:

There is a time lapse of about 6 days between the return of the couple from Hawaii. Two possibilities here:

• Infected in Hawaii
• Infected after return from Hawaii in Japan.

The man had a fever of 39 degrees Celsius on the 8th of this month after he had a cold on 3rd of this month and visited a medical institution.

He returned to the hospital on 10th of this month and showed signs of pneumonia. He had a wobble on the 13th and was transported to a medical institution in Aichi Prefecture by emergency.

As a result of the inspection, it was confirmed that the patient was infected with the new coronavirus on the 14th.

The man stayed in Hawaii on a trip from 28th of this month to 7th of this month, and had been recuperating at home since the 8th.

This means that they wore a mask when boarding an airplane or going out.
