The virus was found by a Georgian citizen who returned to Georgia from Iran via Azerbaijan. 

A 50-year-old man who found the virus was taken to an infectious hospital. According to the Minister, his condition is satisfactory.

The first case of a new coronavirus has been reported in Georgia. 

Georgia's Health Minister Ekaterine Tikaradze said this recently at a special briefing at the government administration.

The virus was found by a Georgian citizen who returned to Georgia from Iran via Azerbaijan. A 50-year-old man who found the virus was taken to an infectious hospital. According to the Minister, his condition is satisfactory.

"The patient was taken directly to the infectious hospital due to symptoms symptoms," the minister said, noting that there was no need to declare a state of emergency at this time.

According to the Minister, at this stage the educational process is not planned to be stopped, since there is no danger of an epidemic.
