A total of 95 people have tested positive coronavirus in Massachusetts, state health officials announced on Wednesday.

The state Department of Public Health reported three new coronavirus cases — a significant rate decrease from the doubling of cases earlier this week.

Six of the cases are now confirmed — an increase from one confirmed case on Tuesday — and 89 are presumptive positive cases.

Out of the 95 cases in Massachusetts, 77 cases are connected to the Biogen employee meeting held in late February in Boston’s Seaport.

Gov. Charlie Baker on Tuesday announced a state of emergency because of the coronavirus outbreak.
