Zika case confirmed in Fort Bend County

FORT BEND COUNTY – Health officials here confirmed one case of the Zika virus.

The patient was diagnosed Tuesday, officials with the Fort Bend County Health Department said. Officials didn’t give any details on the patient or what country he or she might have traveled to.

Another Zika case was confirmed in the Houston area Monday. Four patients in both Houston and Harris County have tested positive for the virus.
