CDPH Weekly Update on Number of Laboratory-Positive Zika Cases in California March 18, 2016 The following table provides the number of travel-associated cases of Zika in California residents since 2013. All individuals contracted Zika while traveling outside of the United States. CDPH is following CDC testing guidelines. Individuals tested for Zika virus include persons returning from an area where Zika virus is circulating who are pregnant and/or have symptoms consistent with Zika virus disease. Cases are categorized by year of onset of symptoms. This table is updated every Friday.
