  8. 30 January 2020 Gold Coast region There has been a second novel coronavirus case confirmed in Queensland. A 42 year old woman, a Chinese national from Wuhan (Hubei Province), has been confirmed to have novel coronavirus. The woman was a member of the tour group travelling with the 44 year old man confirmed with coronavirus on 29 January 2020. The woman is currently isolated in the Gold Coast University Hospital, and is stable.
