Mater Dei Hospital has released (at GISAID) a partial Spike gene sequence, Malta/MDxMDH13/2020, matching 5 non-synonymous changes the UK variant in and around the receptor binding domain, including N501Y, from a Dec 19 collection from a traveler from UK.
