A UNK number will be assigned and updated upon publication USA/NJ-CDC-STM-UNK149/2021 New Jersey New Jersey has identified its first two known cases of a more contagious COVID-19 variant that was first detected in the United Kingdom. Another variant case was reported in a young traveler who was staying in northern New Jersey, Persichilli said. The child was tested on Jan. 11 in New York City and is asymptomatic.
