niman Posted March 7, 2020 Report Posted March 7, 2020 UCSF has released a sequence (at GISAID), hCoV-19/USA/CA-CDPH-UC1/2020 from a Solano Co case who was on the first trip of the Grand Princess cruise ship, that matches a series of sequences from King Co Washington, including the LTCF.

niman Posted March 7, 2020 Author Report Posted March 7, 2020 (edited) Sequence from passenger is the orf 8 lineage seen in first US case (in Snohomish Co). This lineage also in first community case (high school student) in Snohomish Co as well as King Co. King co seqs have two additional markers. The Solano Co passenger on first leg of Grand Princess has all of the above markers. Edited March 7, 2020 by niman
