Test results from 28 individuals came back negative from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). There are now a total of 17 individuals under investigation for possible infection. Denton County Public Health confirmed the first case of the Zika virus in a country resident on Tuesday. Health officials say it was an imported case. The female patient traveled internationally to a country with active transmission in late January. Health officials here confirmed another Zika case in the county Monday. Officials didn’t release details on the person or where he or she had traveled. Health officials said they expect that information to be released some time Tuesday.
